The production of knitted clothing, if it is not a handicraft workshop, requires expensive equipment and large areas, for which not every beginning entrepreneur has funds. But a small shop for the production of clothes, unlike a workshop, has a chance to "promote" its own brand and enter the level of the all-Russian market.
It is necessary
- -Certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur or legal entity;
- -room with an area of 100 square meters;
- - a set of universal and specialized sewing equipment;
- - agreement with several suppliers of raw materials (fabrics and accessories);
- - two teams of workers (10 people each) and a technologist-designer of clothes.
Instructions
Step 1
Register as an individual entrepreneur or register a legal entity if your company has several co-founders. Rent a space, considering options from only 100 square meters, preferably with the ability to connect to electricity on a production scale - with a voltage of 380 volts. The premise should be in such a state that it does not have to be overhauled - given the likely amount of rent, you cannot afford to spend money on this either.
Step 2
Study the market for sewing equipment and decide what types of it would be appropriate for you to equip your workshop. All sewing equipment is divided into universal (sewing machines) and specialized (machines for performing any specific operations). You will probably need about 15-20 universal sewing machines, several overcasting machines and a semi-automatic button sewing machine.
Step 3
Agree with several wholesale suppliers of fabrics on cooperation - choose those that offer the most complete assortment and do not require full prepayment. Check in advance each grade of purchased raw materials (fabrics) for compatibility with your equipment. Pay great attention to the procurement of accessories, try to select the details that are most suitable for those models of knitted clothes that you produce, do not be approximate.
Step 4
Calculate the number of personnel required to service your production. The optimal team consists of five seamstresses, two cutters and a foreman. An experienced design technologist is required to develop new clothing models. The services of other specialists (equipment adjuster, accountant) can be used as needed, having agreed with them about part-time work.
