Instructions

Step 1

In accordance with Russian legislation, each credit institution must interact with one of the BCHs by concluding an appropriate agreement. The credit history is formed by the borrower himself. He has the right to make or not make some loans to it. If you give your consent to the transfer of information to the bureau for the first time, then you need to generate a code. Subsequently, knowing it, you will be able to access your credit history.

Step 2

If you took out loans in different banks, then information about you may be stored in several bureaus, depending on which of them the bank has concluded an agreement with. The title part of the credit history is transferred to the Central Catalog of Credit History (CCCI), which is a subdivision of the Central Bank.

Step 3

Not only credit institutions, but also the borrowers themselves have access to the information stored in the BCH. Usually, this is resorted to in case of refusal to issue a loan, if the borrower has good income and impeccable documents. As a rule, in this case, people check their credit history to make sure that there have been any mistakes in the past. Sometimes the BKI contains erroneous information. They can be eliminated by writing an appropriate application.

Step 4

Since credit bureaus do not exchange information with each other, the necessary information about yourself can be obtained through the CCCI. This can be done on the website of the Central Bank or by e-mail of the catalog, while you need to know the code of the subject of the credit history. After contacting you, you will receive a list of the bureau where your credit history is stored. If it is empty, it means that you either did not take loans at all, or did not give consent to provide information to the BKI. This procedure is free only once a year. If you need to use the information more often, you will have to pay about 500 rubles. for each subsequent call.

Step 5

Remember that you can only provide information from the bureau if you apply to it personally or have a notarized power of attorney from the person for whom the credit history will be requested.
