Internet banking is being actively implemented on social networks. Now in Odnoklassniki and VKontakte you can not only read news and get answers to your questions, but also make financial transactions.
Sberbank in social networks
In September 2014, Sberbank of Russia launched a special application on the Odnoklassniki social network. In Sberbank Online and in a special group in Odnoklassniki, you can register in this application and get access to some services: transferring money to other Sberbank clients to a card, replenishing an OK wallet, paying for mobile communications and paying in the internal currency of the social network.
In November of the same year, Sberbank launched a similar application on VKontakte.
Bank of Moscow on VKontakte
Bank of Moscow has launched its application on VKontakte. Here you can transfer money from your account to the card of a user who has an active profile in the application. You don't even need to enter the recipient's card number - you can just click on his avatar in the contact list. Transfers between bank cards are carried out without commission, in other cases it is 1.5%, but not less than 50 rubles for one operation.
Bonuses from banks in social networks
Some banks hold special promotions on social networks. Alfa-Bank, for example, launched the AlfaLike bonus program, where users, within three months, could reduce the interest on the loan for the likes they typed.
The winners received interest rates on loans from 6.35 to 6.57% per annum.
Banks are actively using social networks to attract potential customers and promote new products.
