A children's cafe or ice cream parlor brings good profit if it is located in a good location, and the cost of opening it pays off in an average of two years. The process of creating such an institution has already been worked out by many Russian entrepreneurs, and therefore it looks quite standard.

It is necessary

  • - premises with an area of 50-100 square meters on a crowded street or in a shopping center;
  • - equipment for the independent production of ice cream or an agreement with several of its suppliers;
  • - an agreement with suppliers of raw materials for the manufacture of ice cream (milk mixtures, waffle cones);
  • - service and production personnel, accountant and cafe administrator (10-15 people).

Instructions

Step 1

Choose one of two working formats for your future children's cafe - either you will produce original ice cream according to your own recipes, or you will buy ready-made products in bulk. One or another solution may be optimal depending on the conditions of a particular region, although it often happens that it is more profitable to work with your own equipment. The issue of the production (or supply) of ice cream for a children's cafe is a top priority, the success of the whole undertaking depends on it.

Step 2

Rent a room on a high-traffic street or in one of the shopping and entertainment centers. The advantage of the second option is the inexhaustible flow of targeted visitors, however, due to the limited area in the shopping center, it will be more difficult to organize the production of ice cream. The hall for visitors of your cafe should be separated from the production and warehouse premises, the total area occupied by an ice cream parlor usually ranges from 50-100 square meters.

Step 3

Purchase equipment if you decide to work autonomously, or find several suppliers that suit you in all respects. To make ice cream, you will need a so-called "freezer", a blender for processing fruits and nuts, and several large freezers. You can serve ice cream in plastic cups, waffle cones or the original glassware of your cafe.

Step 4

Find production and service personnel for your cafe. Visitors will be served by shift bartenders and cashiers, while ice cream is made by several confectioners headed by the shift supervisor. It is also better to hire an accountant on a permanent basis - together with him, the staff of your cafe will consist of 10-15 people (depending on the volume of ice cream production).

Step 5

Supplement your cafe's assortment with soft drinks (coffee for moms and dads will also come in handy), other types of pastries (cakes, for example), and consider that your work on organizing a children's cafe is coming to an end. Having equipped a trading floor and having obtained the necessary permits from the Rospotrebnadzor administration, you can safely open a cafe.
