Step 1
It is possible to dispose of maternal capital - it does not matter, part of the funds or in full - only when the baby is three years old. There are also exceptions - for example, when it comes to repaying the principal or interest on loans or borrowings received for the purchase or construction of housing. Such loans can be repaid in the amount of maternity capital, without waiting for three years from the date of the child's birth.
Step 2
These funds can be disposed of in full or in part. Directions can be as follows:
- buying a home - it can be both a residential building and an object of individual housing construction;
- construction of a private house with the help of a construction company;
- construction or renovation of a private house without the involvement of an organization;
- compensation for funds spent on construction or reconstruction;
- payment for participation in shared construction;
- when obtaining a mortgage loan, maternity capital funds can be used as payment for the initial payment;
- when joining a housing cooperative, maternity capital can also be used as an entry fee. The main condition that must be met is that the residential premises being purchased or under construction must be located on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Step 3
Part of the maternity capital funds or all of them can be directed towards education for a child or children in any of the educational organizations located on the territory of the Russian Federation. The selected organization must have the right to provide relevant educational services, state accreditation. You can use these funds to pay for the maintenance of children in kindergartens. Any educational institutions that implement the basic general educational program of preschool education fit this definition.
