The production of bags is attractive in that it does not require expensive imported equipment - the required range of domestic production will not cost you so much. And even taking into account the fact that you will most likely have to order raw materials for the manufacture of polyethylene products abroad, we can say that it is difficult to find a less costly type of industrial production today.

It is necessary

  • - permission of the local administration, fire inspection, Rospotrebnadzor and environmental service;
  • - a set of equipment (extrusion and flexographic);
  • - premises in the industrial zone of the city from 100 square meters in area;
  • - contract for the supply of raw materials for polyethylene production.

Instructions

Step 1

Obtain permits for organizing polyethylene production - coordinate the project with the department of architecture and urban planning of the local administration, get permission from Rospotrebnadzor, fire inspectorate and environmental service. The preliminary consent of all regulatory authorities gives the "green light" only at the beginning of work on the production equipment - numerous inspections are coming in the future. You should be especially careful about the problem of recycling production waste - if you fail to cope with this task, you can get "disqualified" from several inspection services at once.

Step 2

Research the market for the extrusion equipment you need and evaluate various proposals. New domestic equipment can be equated with used imported equipment - both in terms of efficiency and at a possible price. Where to stop is up to you, the option with new imported equipment differs in cost from the first two several times, and not everyone can afford this luxury at the start.

Step 3

Find a space away from residential areas of the city, but without any difficulties with access roads (including for trucks). The organization of polyethylene production requires serious areas - options from 100 square meters and 8 meters in height will have to be considered. It is also imperative to provide an area for a warehouse - finished products, and especially industrial raw materials, will take up a lot of space.

Step 4

Sign a contract for the supply of granular polyethylene of different brands - it will be the main raw material for the production of bags. Many polyethylene factories purchase raw materials outside the former USSR and have established long-term relationships with foreign suppliers. It is possible that at present there are already quite a few offers from polyethylene suppliers in Russia and Ukraine that are profitable in all respects, but in this case you will have to act for some time by trial and error until an acceptable option is found.
