According to the adopted legislation, when importing or exporting goods to a certain territory of the country, customs duty is levied. Instructions

Step 1

Determine what type of cargo yours will belong to - imported or exported cargo. The type of customs duty will also depend on this. Please note that it is the import customs duties that must be paid to the specified balance sheet by filling in separate payment documents.

Step 2

Choose the most convenient payment method for you. There are two options here - non-cash or cash.

Step 3

If you choose cash settlement, issue the appropriate customs receipt note.

Step 4

To pay the import customs duty, fill out a special payment document, in which you indicate the information that provides identification of the payment. Such data include an indication of the budget classification code, data of the recipient, the number of the Federal Customs Service, the code of the customs authority (eight-digit), data and details of the recipient's bank. Be sure to check the document, otherwise you may be asked to fill it out again.

Step 5

Select the currency in which all customs payments will be paid. It can be both national and foreign currency according to the exchange rate provided by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

Step 6

Fill out the customs declaration. Its type will depend directly on the procedures being carried out, as well as on the persons who move these goods: a declaration for a vehicle, a transit, passenger customs declaration or a commodity declaration.

Step 7

Pay customs duties directly at the cash desk or by transferring to the appropriate bank account.
