Step 1
For many years, the prenuptial agreement has been used in the United States and Western Europe. In recent years, it has begun to gain popularity in Russia as well. Many entrepreneurs and people with high incomes simply do not know all the intricacies of family law. This is what pushed them to register the company as a figurehead, which entailed other problems and conflicts.

The Russian government decided to adopt the experience of foreign countries and allowed the spouses to independently establish the regime of matrimonial property, negotiate individual clauses of the marriage contract, etc. In any case, you will have to notarize this document, as stated in paragraph 2 of article 41 of the Family Code of the Russian Federation. In article 42 of the aforementioned legislative document, you can find the approximate content of a marriage contract.

In order to draw up a prenuptial agreement and protect your income from your spouse, carefully consider the property relations that you plan to create.

After that, proceed to filling out the papers, which may differ in their form. At the same time, they must contain the section "Regime of property of spouses", in which indicate the property that belonged to this or that spouse before marriage.

Also describe all the rights and responsibilities of each party. You can add a time limit here. If you fail to comply with these rules, you have the right to terminate this agreement.

In one of the paragraphs of the marriage contract, indicate the degree of participation of each of the spouses in the family budget. This will protect all lagging funds from any encroachment in the event of a divorce.

Among other things, determine the property that will pass to your significant other after the termination of the prenuptial agreement (marriage). At this point, you can also specify that the entire property remains only to you.
Step 8
After all the important, in your opinion, points have been discussed, go to a lawyer who will certify this prenuptial agreement. In this case, both parties must sign it.
