It is necessary

Instructions

Step 1

Before filling out the declaration, a special program for which is on the official website of the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service, check that you have the necessary package of documents. You must have in your hands a contract of purchase and sale for an apartment, a house, an act of transfer of real estate, a certificate of ownership of housing, as well as a power of attorney if the property is shared or joint. Payment documents and a 2-NDFL certificate are required. Without their presence, it is impossible to receive a deduction.

Step 2

Install the Declaration program on your computer. Go to the conditions tab. Enter the number of the tax authority, the type of declaration, which, in the event of a deduction, corresponds to 3-NDFL. Indicate your status, for persons who are not registered as an individual entrepreneur, lawyer, notary, farmer, the sign will be another individual. With regard to existing income, tick the box "income confirmed by certificates of 2-NDFL".

Then enter your personal data on the declarant details tab. Write the details of your passport, including series, number, department code. Enter the address of your registration in accordance with the identity document. Indicate your contact phone number (landline, mobile).

Now go to the tab of income received on the territory of the Russian Federation. Write the name of the company where you perform your duties under the agreement (contract), indicate its TIN, KPP (if any). Using the 2-NDFL certificate, write down the amount of your remuneration for each month of the six months for which the certificate was drawn up.

Step 5

Then, in the deduction column, select the property deduction tab. Write the type of purchase of an apartment, house. As a rule, this is a sale and purchase agreement, less often - an investment. Indicate the type of property. In case of joint, shared ownership, a power of attorney is attached to the documentation package for the spouse to receive a deduction.

Step 6

Write in full the address of the location of the housing you purchased, including the index and code of the subject of the Russian Federation. Indicate the date of transfer of the apartment, house to you from the real estate seller. Write the date, month, year when you registered your title and received the corresponding certificate. Enter the amount you spent on housing in accordance with the payment documents and the sales contract. Print out the declaration, attach the documentation, and within four months the money will be credited to your bank account.
