When creating a business, every entrepreneur is faced with the choice of the organizational and legal form of the company. If you decide to open a small store, it is advisable to register with the tax office as a sole proprietor. Of course, there are pros and cons here. For example, registration of an individual entrepreneur is simpler.
First of all, collect a package of documents for registering a company. It includes the following forms:
- copies of all pages of your passport;
- copy of the TIN certificate;
- a receipt for payment of the state duty;
- application in the form No. Р21001;
- a sheet with contact details.
And now about each in more detail. Having made copies of the passport, fold them in order, sew and number the sheets. In order to avoid problems with the tax authorities, have the copies certified by a notary. Make a copy of your registration certificate.
Fill out the application. Enter the last name, first name and patronymic of the entrepreneur in Russian and English. Please fill in your gender and birth details below. Enter citizenship by ticking the required box. In the next section, you must provide information about your place of residence and contact phone number.
To fill out section 8, you need to decide on the code of economic activity, that is, what you want to do. Each activity has its own specific code, which you can see in the OKVED directory. Let's say you want to open a retail store selling cosmetics and perfumes. In this case, enter the code 52.33.1 in section 8.
Next, you must indicate the passport details of the entrepreneur and, if available, the TIN number. Sign the application only in the presence of a notary, as he must certify your signature.
Then go to the Sberbank branch where payments are accepted. Provide your passport and pay the state fee for registering an individual entrepreneur (currently it is 800 rubles).
Fill out a sheet with your contact information, enter the following information there: actual address of residence, mobile and home phone number, and e-mail address.
Get a binder folder. Attach to it all the above documents, including the originals (but you don’t need to give them, you just need to show them to the inspector). Submit them to the tax office located at the address of your registration. Registration of an individual entrepreneur with the tax authorities takes 5 working days. Be sure to ask the inspector to write a receipt for accepting documents.
Upon completion of registration, you will receive from the Federal Tax Service a certificate of registration with the tax authority, a notice of registration of an individual entrepreneur and an extract from the USRIP. If you want to apply the simplified taxation system, immediately after registration, fill out the form No. 26.2-1 (this must be done within 5 days).
