In order to control the process of providing services and the production of goods subject to licensing, representatives of the licensing authority and other departments in whose competence are the activities of an organization, conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the activities of organizations. How are they carried out, and what can serve as a reason for an unscheduled inspection?

Step 1
If you would like to know the duration of your license, please contact the licensing authority and apply for an extract from the license register. But be careful, as your appeal may initiate an unscheduled audit of the activities of your organization, especially if your license is about to expire and you have not yet had time to apply for its renewal.
Step 2
Usually, the commission is engaged in scheduled inspections of organizations no more than 1 time in 2 years. The duration of such a check is no more than 5 days. At least 3 days in advance, you will be notified of the upcoming check. But if, for example, you are the owner of a security company, then the commission will check both the level of services you provide and the validity of licenses for weapons and special equipment.
Step 3
If, as a result of the scheduled inspection process, any violations were identified, prepare for the fact that a commission visit from the licensing authority and other departments with an unscheduled inspection will soon follow.
Step 4
In addition, an unscheduled check is carried out in the following cases:
- upon receipt of information from state control bodies about violation by the licensee of the conditions and requirements of the license;
- after the appeal of citizens, individual entrepreneurs or legal entities with complaints about violation of their interests and rights through the actions of the licensee;
- upon receipt of other documents and other evidence testifying to the facts of violations.
Step 5
Submit all the necessary documents for verification. If the check is unscheduled, in addition to documents, you will be required to provide documented explanations or refutations of your actions.
Step 6
Get one of 2 copies of the certificate drawn up based on the results of the audit. If violations were identified, the act indicates which conditions were violated. In addition, the terms of elimination of violations are indicated.
Step 7
After all violations have been corrected, notify the licensing authority in writing.
