Step 1
If a point of sale is equipped with a device for accepting payment by cards, at the entrance to it, and directly at the cash desks, if any, there are usually logos of plastic card systems that are accepted.
In some cases, the seller must be warned about the desire to pay by card, but more often it is enough to simply offer it for payment instead of cash.
Sometimes the buyer may be asked to show a passport or other document with a photograph.
After making the payment, the check is printed in two copies. According to the rules, both the buyer and the cashier must sign for both. In practice, in his copy of the check, the buyer usually signs only the one that remains at the outlet.
Step 2
When paying via the Internet, after the command to go to payment, you need to enter in the appropriate fields the card number, name and surname of the owner (exactly as they are written on the front side of the card) and the expiration date (month and year) and the code on the back side (last three digits under the signature field).
The card issuing bank may request an additional identifier for your safety. For example, a one-time password sent via SMS to the owner's number.
Step 3
You can pay for the services of mobile operators, Internet providers and some others through an ATM. To do this, you need to insert the card into the ATM, enter the PIN-code, select the option to pay for services (or payments), the type of services that you want to pay for and the provider from the proposed list. Then enter your identifier (phone number, contract or other), enter the payment amount and give a command to pay.
