Instructions

Step 1

In order for the goods to go through the import procedure, pay all the necessary duties and taxes (the list can be found on the website of the Customs Administration), take into account the prohibitions on the import of certain categories of goods, provide all the required documents confirming the restrictions associated with the use of anti-dumping and countervailing, as well as special protective measures. If all these conditions are met, then in this case the goods will receive the status of the so-called goods of the Customs Union.

Step 2

To carry out such an operation, prepare a foreign economic contract, where be sure to indicate the maximum consideration of the terms of the transaction itself. In addition, issue a passport of the transaction, carry out cargo insurance, pay all customs payments, and also complete the documents required to perform non-tariff control. The last group includes certificates of fire safety and compliance, notification of the Federal Agency for Government Communications and Information under the President of the Russian Federation, import quarantine permit, veterinary certificate, and more.

Step 3

Carry out all preliminary calculations regarding the cost of the contract according to the data provided by the importing country, choose the optimal delivery basis and sign the agency agreement. Do the latter only if the goods are imported through a third-party organization.

Step 4

Purchase currency and make payment to the account of the supplier organization. After that, the goods must be insured and shipped.

Step 5

Submit to the customs authority all the previously collected and executed documents (mentioned above), and then receive the goods at the border, check them and send them to your warehouse. The procedure for registering the import of goods has been completed. Do not make mistakes in collecting information, and the goods will arrive to you without any delay.
