The network of banks serving the national card is expanding. The Mir card can be obtained in 85 banks, including such large banks as VTB 24, Rosselkhozbank, Gazprombank, Sberbank.
How to get a World card
You can get a Mir card anywhere in vast Russia. The main condition for obtaining a card: citizenship of the Russian Federation, age over 14 years. It is necessary to come to the bank with a passport and fill out an application form. The card will be ready within 4-7 days, about which the bank will notify by SMS. You can pick it up at the bank by presenting your passport, the staff will help you activate it.
In some institutions, for example, in Svyaz Bank, you can get a card online by filling out a form on the bank's website. Consideration of the application will take two days, bank employees will contact you by phone.
Sberbank, the flagship of the Russian banking system, issues two types of cards: social and classical. The classic card "Mir" of Sberbank is issued to all interested citizens of the Russian Federation who have reached the age of 14. The social card is intended for retirees. In order to receive a Mir card for a pensioner, it is required to provide the bank with a document certifying his status.
