Bank cards are becoming more and more common means of payment every year. The network of stores that accept them for payment is expanding, many organizations open up the opportunity to pay for goods and services via the Internet. And if some time ago, mainly salary cards were used, now the possibility of their use is expanding. But you need to know the rules for using bank cards. So how do you top up a card such as Visa Electron?
It is necessary
- - Visa Electron bank card;
- - cash to replenish the account;
- - passport.
Instructions
Step 1
Find the address of your bank branch. This can be done on the bank's website, for example, in the "Branches and ATMs" section. Indicate your city and region of residence, and the system will give you the address, phone number and opening hours of the branch. You can also find out the address of the office of your bank closest to you by calling the reference phone, which is also indicated on the website of your bank.
It does not matter in which branch you opened an account and received a card. You can top up your account in any of them.
Step 2
Deposit money to the account linked to your card. This can be done through the checkout. It is enough to present your card or account number and passport.
If at the time when you visited the bank, the cash desk is closed, use an ATM. To do this, find an ATM that accepts cash (this information is indicated on the ATM itself). Then insert the card into the ATM, enter the pin code, select the "Deposit money to the account" option in the menu. Insert a bundle of banknotes into the bill acceptor; there should not be any badly damaged ones among them. After the end of the operation, do not forget to pick up your card and check.
Step 3
Some banks provide a service for replenishing an account through the Contact payment system. In this case, you can replenish your account not only at the branch of your bank, but also at another financial institution using the same payment system.
Step 4
If your bank provides Internet banking services, you can perform part of the operations on the bank's website. For example, if you have another account with the same bank and you want to replenish the account to which the card is linked, transfer the required amount from one account to another. To do this, get a login and password at the bank branch to access the system and follow the instructions on the website on how to transfer money from one account to another.
