By proposing to raise the retirement age in Russia, the Government of the Russian Federation is trying to explain this event. Financial analysts also do not stand aside. The most common arguments have already been imposed on the teeth, but they still seem ambiguous.

Increased life expectancy

The previous pension law was passed more than half a century ago. Then life expectancy was on average 10-15 years lower. Therefore, the retirement age was set at 55 and 60 years. Now people have begun to live longer, you can't argue with that. But many dangerous diseases have also grown dramatically younger. Many people over 40 already suffer from hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases. The quality of life of the elderly remains extremely low. Especially considering the problems in modern Russian healthcare.

Improving working conditions

Half a century ago, people were mainly engaged in hard physical labor, and the working conditions were not very good. Poorly automated, dirty workshops did not add health to people. Work at the limit of vitality forced people to grow old early and go on a well-deserved rest. Now the working conditions are completely different. Even in factories, most of the hard work is done by machines, and people are just driving them. And the majority of the urban population has moved to comfortable offices.

But we must not forget about the villagers. Although labor in the fields has become more automated, it still remains hard physical labor. And it is unlikely that a 65-year-old man will be able to work as efficiently as a twenty-five year old. However, the government clearly did not think about it.

Population aging

This refers to demographic problems. People began to give birth a little, trying to live for themselves. And, perhaps, they are not so confident in the future as to calmly raise their children. Thus, there are a lot of people of retirement age, and there are few working people. Allegedly, the working non-settlement is not able to "feed" such a horde of pensioners. But it does not really fit into my head why workers should feed pensioners. Aren't we saving ourselves for retirement by deducting the pension contribution? Otherwise, why does the state regularly take a percentage of our salary?

Crisis in the country

The crisis has been in the country for a long time. It can be said that this is a familiar phenomenon in our country. The state has no money, and the easiest way to fill the budget is to take money away from the most defenseless. It seems that there are other ways to replenish the budget. For example, to squeeze out a few olicarchs. But for some reason the government did not think of it.

Today, future retirees, who are destined to retire at 65, are still cheerful, cheerful and do not think about anything. And in twenty years it will be too late to be indignant. The current pensioners, of whom there are a huge number, could offer resistance, but they have no need. The state promised them an increase in their pension for about 1000 rubles a month.

All of Europe has already done it

Iron argument. All of Europe is already doing this, and we are lagging behind. It should be noted that Europe is doing much more, to which we still have to grow and grow. For example, to the level of their medicine, legality, law and order, social security.
