In our country, the cost of utilities is constantly growing. At the same time, wages are simply not keeping pace with their growth rates. In this regard, the state provides citizens with subsidies for utility bills, which can be received by families, where utility bills are more than 22% of total income.

Instructions

Step 1

Residential property owners, tenants under a lease agreement, members of cooperatives, and users of the housing stock can apply for a housing subsidy. But at the same time, the subsidy is provided only to those citizens who do not have utility bills and payments for housing. A subsidy can also be received if the citizen has an agreement with public utilities to pay off the debt.

Step 2

The subsidy is transferred directly to citizens to a bank account. Individuals with disabilities may receive a subsidy through an organization such as a social center that serves a person. At the same time, the funds transferred can be spent both to pay for utilities and for other purposes. But it should be remembered that in the event of a debt for a period of more than 2 months, the payment of subsidies may be suspended.

Step 3

The calculation of subsidies and their transfer are carried out by specialized centers that exist in each district and city. In them, you can find out how much income a family must have in order to be able to receive subsidies. Each region has different levels of income that give this right. But at the same time, the amount of payment for utility services cannot exceed 22 percent of the total family income. Local authorities can set a lower standard (up to 10%). Let's say your region has a standard of 10%, and the total family income is 25,000 rubles. The cost of housing and communal services is 5,000 rubles. In this case, 20% of the family's income goes to pay for utilities, which means you have every right to apply for a subsidy.

Step 4

The size of the subsidy for housing and communal services is calculated using a special formula. It takes into account information about the number of residents, their income, data on the established standard. In a simpler form, the amount of subsidies can be represented as the difference between the permissible expenses of citizens for paying for utilities and the total in the payment receipt.

Step 5

In order to receive a subsidy, you need to collect a package of documents: - passports of all family members (for those under 14 - birth certificates);

- a certificate of the composition of the family;

- documents confirming the right to use housing;

- certificates and income of all family members;

- statements of their personal accounts for payment of utilities;

- copies of receipts for payment;

- details of the bank account for crediting funds to it.

Step 6

It must be remembered that the subsidy is provided for 6 months. After this period, the documents must be collected again. There shouldn't be any special difficulties in obtaining subsidies. Citizens only need to keep copies of receipts for payment of utility bills.
