Pension registration must begin well in advance. And an important point in this is the timely filing of an application to the pension fund. Without it, no one will make the accrual of funds.
Instructions
Step 1
The calculation of the pension takes place from the date of submission of the application for its accrual. But, naturally, not earlier than the due date has come. To insure yourself against possible problems in documentation and delays, submit such an application one month before the onset of retirement age. In women, it begins at 50, in men at 60.
Step 2
Before submitting your application, collect the package of documents that will need to be attached to it. It consists of a work book, a passport, a military ID, a certificate of the average salary for five years in any period of work, a certificate of compulsory medical insurance and a document confirming insurance experience. And if you want to apply for an early retirement pension, you also need a document confirming your eligibility for this benefit.
Step 3
Take the application form from the pension fund located at your place of residence or stay. Its form was developed in accordance with the rules for maintaining pension documents. If you do not understand any points in the application, please clarify them in advance. Remember that you are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the application.
Step 4
Fill out the application, attach the necessary documents to it and take it to the pension fund. A fund specialist will register it in a special journal and give you a receipt confirming the acceptance of documents. If you are unable to take the application personally, send it by mail or with a representative to whom you need to issue a power of attorney for such actions.
Step 5
Wait while the pension fund specialists check your documents. It usually takes about 10 business days. If any information is lacking, they will notify you of this and ask you to bring the necessary documents. When everything is in order, you will receive a pension that you can receive when you reach retirement age.
