Banks receive applications from their clients on this or that occasion quite often. The reasons may be: credit recalculation, request to write off fines and penalties, loss of a bank card, erroneous transfer of money from account to account, etc. At the same time, quite often the bank's clients do not know how to correctly formulate and compose the text of such statements.
Instructions
Step 1
To get started, check with your bank if they have a ready-made application form. This can be done either by calling the hotline, which is available in every financial institution, or by visiting personally any branch of your financial institution. Alternatively, you can use the feedback form on the bank's website. Just fill in the indicated fields (name, surname, email, sometimes a phone number) and ask your question in the special field. You will definitely be answered.
Step 2
If the application form for contacting the bank at your servicing financial institution is approved, the problems end there. Just fill it in for all required positions.
Step 3
When the bank does not provide a sample application, write it in any form. A similar statement is drawn up, like any other. Above in the corner there is a "cap" indicating the person and his position through which you want to contact the bank as a whole. This is usually the branch manager. His name can be found directly at the bank. Next, specify on whose behalf this paper is being fed. To get the answer to you more quickly, after your own surname and first name, write your phone number and e-mail address.
Step 4
Begin to describe your request, claim or demand. Be attentive to the listing of certain facts on which you want to emphasize. If you can, write down the time frame and your ability to fix this or that situation. When you file a claim with the bank, indicate how long you would like to receive a response to your application. In the case when you ask the bank for a deferral, for example, under a loan agreement, write how you plan to settle accounts with the bank until the difficulties that have arisen are eliminated. It will be a big plus for you if you can refer to this or that article in the law.
Step 5
Be sure to date and sign your application. Experts recommend compiling it in 2 copies. You will leave one of them for consideration at the bank, the other you will take for yourself. Insist that both of these copies be registered with the financial institution. The application can be taken in person, sent by courier, who will wait for the documents to be approved and bring back your copy. You can send your application by registered mail with notification. So that you can get a stamp on the date and time of receipt of the shipment by the addressee. All these documents will help you in the event that you sue the bank.
Step 6
If you are not too confident in your abilities and legal literacy, contact a specialist. He will help you draw up the correct document, which the bank will not dare to ignore.
