How often do such situations arise when there is a good idea, there is a great need to make the world and society better, to help the socially unprotected category of the population, but the implementation of the project needs funding. There are currently several possibilities for this.
Instructions
Step 1
To begin with, you need to more specifically define the topic of the project, clearly define the project itself and the activities that you would like to carry out, as well as outline the budget (in the context of activities, by periods). A project described on a sheet of paper is an important part in the process of finding funding, because it helps, first of all, you yourself understand how much and for what funding is needed. Already when communicating with a potential sponsor or grantor, you will feel more confident.
Step 2
The second step is to make a list of possible sources of funds for social projects. Funding can be private or public. With regard to government funding, all sources can be divided into three types: local, regional and federal. Local sources are competitions for grants for social projects at the city level. They are announced once a year by the mayor's office and may be of a sectoral nature (sports, tourism, accessible environment. Youth, etc.). We are looking for a corresponding announcement on the mayor's website. As for regional competitions, they are already announced by the regional ministry. There are also industry specificities. Here it is necessary to look at the websites of the ministries, namely, the ministry, to whose activities the subject of the project itself is more suitable. But there is a separate category - youth. Projects on various topics aimed at young people and implemented by young people can be financed here.
Step 3
The third step is funding projects at the federal level (from federal sources), which means that here we will talk about federal competitions. These include, first of all, presidential grants, grants from the Ministry of Economic Development, grants from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (citizens under 30 can receive them).
Step 4
Another step is getting private money, that is, from individuals and organizations. As for individuals, here help can be either targeted from a specific donor, or from several persons through crowdfunding. You can also directly indicate on the organization's website the details for receiving funds from individuals. In addition, sponsorship from organizations will be another source of funding. To do this, you can write requests to the names of managers with a request to support the project. Instead, you will indicate the sponsoring organization on the project stands, brochures, handouts, etc.
