Step 1
Make sure you need a cash register to carry out your business. Read the law "On the use of cash registers in the implementation of cash payments", which provides a complete list of activities that do not require the use of a cash register.
Step 2
Purchase a cash register based on the functionality you need. Make sure before purchasing that this type of device is included in the state register and has a secure control tape. The presence of the tape is indicated by the letter "K" in the name of the cash register.
Step 3
Contact the tax authority that keeps records of your business. Get there a list of documents required for registering a cash register. Prepare and submit to the tax office a package of documents including information about your company and the purchased cash registers.
Step 4
Agree with the tax authority the time for the so-called fiscalization of the cash desk. You will need to wait several days for a technical service center specialist to check and seal the cash register, fill in the check details and perform other actions with the device in the presence of a tax authority employee.
Step 5
On the appointed day, appear at the tax office to obtain a document on registration of the cash register. Make sure that the device is entered in the appropriate register of cash registers. Check the correctness of recording the details of the device on the cash register receipt, including information about the device model.
Step 6
After the end of registration, install a cash register in the place where it is supposed to serve consumers. Connect power and optional peripherals to the machine. This can be a barcode scanner, electronic scales, as well as a device for reading electronic cards.
