Anyone can check the counterparty using the online service available via the link from the main page of the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. The check will allow you to see all the information that is contained about your counterparty in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. You can also find out if there are any disqualified persons among its founders and if the information that he provides about himself is correct.

Instructions
Step 1
Open the main page of the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and follow the link "Check yourself and your counterparty." It is located on the right side of the page. If your monitor is small, you will need to scroll down a bit on this page.
Step 2
The search form contains several fields. In this case, it is enough to fill in any of them. But when checking a specific legal entity, it is better to enter as much information about it as possible. If the data that you have is incomplete, you will have to limit yourself to what is available.
Also select the geography of your search. By default, it will be implemented nationwide. But you can limit yourself to one constituent entity of the Federation or test several subjects of interest one by one.
Step 3
Having filled in all the fields relevant to your case, enter the control code and give the command to search. If a full data search does not produce any results, try clearing certain fields. This will expand the number of firms that meet your search criteria, and from them you can choose the most suitable one. However, if you know the TIN and KPP of the counterparty, there can be only one search result, since this data is unique for each company. If there is no result when searching with these criteria, it means that either you entered something wrong, or the information that the counterparty told you about himself is incorrect.
Step 4
If the search gave several results, select the option that best suits your counterparty, click on the link to it and compare the information about it, which is contained in the database, with the one you have.
