People complain about the chronic lack of money. It seems that they make good money, and do not waste money, do without unnecessary excesses, but still barely make it to pay. There is no question of saving money for a large purchase or for an overseas tour.

First, you need to take as a strict rule: immediately separate from each pay that part of it that will go to utilities (rent, electricity, gas, telephone). It should not be used for any other purpose unless absolutely necessary. Better yet, pay your utilities as soon as possible so that there is no temptation to touch this amount.

The remaining amount should be spent on the "nothing more" principle. It is not at all difficult to learn how to economically manage the economy, there would be desire and patience. For a period of time, say two months, carefully record all your expenses, down to the smallest. And then carefully study the result. Analyze: what you could do without, and what it would be reasonable to save on.

A large part of the budget goes to food. Of course, we are not talking about living from hand to mouth or buying only the cheapest products. But with a reasonable approach to business, you can eat varied, tasty and save a hefty amount. Before going to the grocery store, try to make a list of what you need to purchase, and in the minimum amount necessary, especially when it comes to perishable foods. Now is not the time of a shortage of goods, it is absolutely not necessary to purchase products for future use. You can deviate from this rule only if you have the opportunity to shop at wholesale stores: then feel free to buy canned food, vegetable oil, sugar and other products with a long shelf life there. After all, wholesale prices are significantly lower than retail prices.

Spending on children is a special issue. Of course, for parents, their child is the best in the world, and the mere thought that one can save on it seems almost blasphemous. However, remember that all kinds of lollipops, chips, sweet soda that babies love so much, if consumed excessively, are simply unhealthy. And an excessive abundance of toys is unlikely to benefit the development of a child.

And as for the magic words "sale", "discounts", from which some representatives of the fair sex lose their peace, in excitement acquiring a mountain of unnecessary things … Here we can advise one: do not rush, do not forget about common sense! Yes, sometimes it is on sales that you can buy good clothes or shoes, paying much cheaper for it. But it is not uncommon for a sale announcement to be just a publicity stunt to lure customers. Don't fall for this bait.
