A private security company is a specific type of business in which the "uninitiated" may feel a little out of place. However, if there is a strong desire to invest in a private security company, this problem can be solved quite simply - by hiring an experienced leader who has a private security guard's certificate and useful connections in law enforcement agencies. With its help, you will probably be able to do everything necessary to create a security company.
It is necessary
- 1. License issued by the licensing and permitting department of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate
- 2. Premises for the "base" (mini-office, weapons room, room for the rapid response team)
- 3. Weapons and special equipment, as well as a certificate for the right to use each of their types
- 4. Sets of uniforms and footwear for the security guards of the "private security company"
- 5. Means of communication - walkie-talkies, mobile and landline telephones
- 6. Personnel of security guards, "licensed" and without special qualifications
Instructions
Step 1
Collect the package of documents required to obtain a license to engage in security activities. In addition to the constituent documents, you must submit to the GUVD a full description of the services that the "private security company" will provide, information about its personnel, weapons and special means that you intend to use. It is also imperative to present documents confirming the qualifications of a private security guard from several employees of the enterprise, including its head.
Step 2
Find a place where the "base" of your security agency will be located - here the manager will negotiate with clients and meet with applicants for getting a job in your organization. If a private security company uses firearms, then here it is necessary to equip a weapons room. Finally, if the "private security company" provides services for the console protection of stationary objects, then on the "base" it will also be necessary to equip a room for the emergency response team on duty.
Step 3
Purchase those special equipment that you intend to use in your work, having previously obtained permission to use each of them from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate. Usually private guards are equipped with rubber sticks, handcuffs, and electric shockers. A weapons room equipped in accordance with all the rules must be "accepted" by experts from the internal affairs bodies and the fire inspection.
Step 4
Order the sewing of branded clothing and footwear for the employees of your security company. You need to have two types of uniforms - for guards working in enclosed spaces and for guards on duty in open spaces. Another item of expenses "at the start" will be the acquisition of means of operational communication between the security guards and the "base" - walkie-talkies, stationary and mobile phones.
Step 5
Recruit security guards by staffing both "licensed" and unlicensed personnel. According to the law, all employees of the security agency must undergo preliminary training, but it is permissible to hire "trainees" working in tandem with experienced security guards and, as it were, preparing to obtain a professional certificate. The salary expectations of such "interns" are usually significantly lower than those of licensed "security".
