Step 1

You need to choose the organizational and legal form of the business and register it. A massage parlor can be arranged as an individual entrepreneur. To do this, you will need to go through the registration procedure, obtain a TIN (taxpayer identification number) from the tax service and pay a state fee. To register an individual entrepreneur, you will need the following documents: an application for state registration of an individual entrepreneur, your individual entrepreneur's passport (copy), a receipt for payment of state duty, TIN (copy), your contacts (address, phone number and other contact information).

In the All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities, find the code corresponding to your type of activity - you will also need to indicate it. After registering an individual entrepreneur, you will receive a certificate of registration of an individual as an individual entrepreneur, a document on the assignment of a TIN and an extract from the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs (USRIP). After that, you will need to choose a taxation system.

When you select a room for the salon, it will be necessary to obtain permission for its operation from the SES employees and firefighters. They must ensure that the premises are safe for workers and visitors. It is logical for this to contact SES and firefighters in advance to find out the exact requirements for the room.

Next comes licensing. Massage is a medical service, so it is mandatory to obtain a license. To do this, you also need to collect a whole package of documents that should be submitted for consideration to the Federal Service for Surveillance of Healthcare. The consolation is that this procedure will need to go through only once, because the license is issued once and forever.

Step 5

To obtain a license, you will need: a full package of constituent and registration documents of an individual entrepreneur (charter, constituent agreement, certificate for a legal entity, confirmation of registration with a tax authority, etc.); documents for the ownership or lease of the premises of the massage parlor (lease agreement or document of the owner of the premises, BTI plan); conclusion of SES and fire supervision, confirming compliance with sanitary requirements and fire safety standards; a package of documents confirming the compliance of the manager with all licensing requirements (higher medical education, work experience of more than 5 years, passing refresher courses); a package of documents confirming the availability of the necessary material and technical base for the provision of services (equipment, materials, etc., which must also have confirmation of compliance with safety requirements). You will also need a receipt for payment of the state fee for filing and considering an application for a license.
