Step 1
Check the face value of the plastic card using an ATM. To do this, find an ATM belonging to the same bank as the card (to avoid commission) and insert the card into it. Then enter the PIN-code of the card, and after accepting it by the ATM, click on the button "Find out the balance on the account" (or "Check the balance"). After waiting some time for the request to be executed, choose how the information about the account will be displayed: on the screen, or on the check. Depending on your choice, the amount of the card face value will be displayed on the screen, or printed on the check. Please note that the plastic card must be valid, not blocked.
Step 2
Use the SMS informing service. To do this, activate this service at the bank in advance. As a rule, in order to connect, you will need to write an appropriate application. This service will cost you 30-50 rubles per month. Instructions for using SMS-informing are written in a special booklet, which will be given to you immediately after the service has been issued. Usually, in order to find out the denomination of the card, you need to send an SMS of the form "01 (space) the last five digits of the card" to the number specified in the instructions (individual for each mobile operator). After a while (depending on the workload of the service), information about the current denomination of the card will come in the return SMS.
Step 3
Go to the window for working with bank cards of the bank branch of which you are a client. Use this method only if the first two cannot be used. To contact the bank, you will need to have with you, in addition to a plastic card, an identity document (passport). Execution of this request in a bank branch will take a certain amount of time.
