Step 1
Examine the gift card carefully from every angle. There are cards of a fixed denomination, then the amount located there will be indicated in large numbers. This will be the denomination of your card. If nothing is shown on the gift card (face value), then use the methods below.
Step 2
Call the hotline or company office. Tell the operator the unique code of your gift card, and the employee of the service organization will tell you the denomination, i.e. the amount of money put on the card.

Send an SMS with the gift card code to the short number that is indicated either on the website or in the information booklet accompanying the card. After sending the message, you will receive a response indicating the denomination of the card. You will also receive a unique code when registering a card.
Step 4
Check the denomination of the card on the official website of the store, which provides an opportunity to make a purchase. Enter the gift card code in the appropriate window and click the "Check" button. If the code is correct, then in a few seconds information about the card denomination will appear.
Step 5
Find out the value of the gift card in the chain of stores, the card of which was presented to you. If you are previously interested in the card denomination, in order to know what you can count on, then ask the cashier to give you an information receipt, which will contain both the individual gift card code and its denomination.
Step 6
Find out the value of the gift card for any purchase in the corresponding store. If the purchase exceeds the face value, then you will have to pay in cash, and if it does not exceed, then the cashier will knock out the remainder on the check. When using this method, it is necessary to prepare the amount of the planned purchase in advance in case the denomination of your gift card is not the largest.
Step 7
Find out the face value of the card by replenishing it with any amount. You will be given a check confirming the deposit of funds, on which the amount will be indicated.
