In order to find out the amount and subject of tax arrears, you can use the "Find out your debt" service on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, call the inspection by phone or go there in person.

Instructions
Step 1
Visit the official website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia. Pay attention to the horizontal menu highlighted in blue at the top of the home page.
Step 2
Move your cursor over the second section "Electronic Services". A pop-up submenu will appear on the page. Select the fourth item "Find out your debt" in it.
Step 3
Review the information on using the Know Your Debt service. If you fully agree with all of the above, click the "Yes, I agree" button. The button is located at the bottom of the page.
Step 4
Enter the taxpayer identification number, your first name, patronymic and last name in the special field. The region will appear automatically, it is tied to the tax office where you received your tax registration certificate.
Step 5
Enter the six-digit security code in the special window. After that, click the "Find" button, it is located at the bottom right of the page.
Step 6
Study the information on the amount of tax arrears. If you do not have it, you will see the inscription "There is no debt."
Step 7
Keep in mind that if you move to another region, you could have arrears in paying tax to the budget of another constituent entity of the Russian Federation. Therefore, repeat the request procedure. Keep in mind that different requests must be made for Moscow and the Moscow region.
Step 8
Call the Contact Center of the Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Moscow at 495-276-2222 and ask the employee to tell you the subject and amount of your debt. Give him your TIN number, first and last name.
Step 9
Visit an inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service. The list of branches with addresses is available on the official website of the Office of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Moscow in the section "Structure of the Federal Tax Service of Russia". Ask the employee to print out the details of the debt. You will also be provided with receipts for payment.
