Selling indoor plants is a very attractive business. It not only generates income, but also satisfies the aesthetic needs of the seller and the buyer. How to organize such a thing?
Instructions
Step 1
Do not try to register your business immediately: the Federal Law "On personal subsidiary plots" does not require this. Do this later when the business is on its feet and if you feel like it. Please note that from the date of registration of an individual entrepreneur or a peasant farm, you will have to pay money to the Pension Fund, even if you have no income.
Step 2
Decide on the room. You can even grow indoor plants at home, but keep in mind that they need good lighting, so if there is not enough light from the window, buy lighting fixtures. Incandescent and gas fluorescent lamps are best suited. Some plants like shade, give them a darker corner.
Step 3
Go to sites that sell plants, look at newspaper ads, visit stores and nurseries. Choose those plants that seem the most interesting to you and buy them. Purchase a special primer for each flower. Don't forget to buy scion transplant pots.
Step 4
Carefully read the recommendations for caring for your "pets" and try to strictly follow them. It's not hard. You will spend no more than 15-20 minutes per day on this. Plants need to be watered at regular intervals, washed from dust every few days, loosened the soil. It is necessary to monitor the lighting, turn on and off the lighting at a certain time.
Step 5
Find a sales market. Submit advertisements to the press that you are selling houseplants. Be eloquent when writing. You can also print ads and post them yourself in special places at entrances and public transport stops.
Step 6
Take color photos of plants, print out brochures, distribute them to specialty stores and offices. Create an online store. If you are registered as an entrepreneur, open a store. Students of the agrarian institute can be hired as sellers.
Step 7
Do not forget that you need to keep records of profits, declare income and pay taxes. You will probably need an accountant.
Step 8
Constantly expand the assortment and look for new customers. Over time, your little business can turn into a flower empire.
