Step 1
Register with the tax authorities as an individual entrepreneur or LLC. Get statistics codes from Rosstat. At the moment, to open a car service, no license or permission from the traffic police is required. The only thing that will need to be issued without fail is certificates of conformity for each type of service.
Step 2
Find a location for a car workshop. Best of all - on the highway, not far from a garage cooperative or a gas station. The room should already have a viewing hole (or a special lift). If it is not equipped, you will have to agree on its arrangement with the landlord. Contact the sanitary and fire service so that the experts, after examining the premises, will write you a positive opinion on its condition. Therefore, your workshop must meet all the standards and requirements of SanPin, which you need to familiarize yourself with in advance.
Step 3
Purchase or rent equipment, tools and supplies. Newly organized private auto repair shops usually specialize in performing the most popular types of work: oil change, minor engine repairs, tire fitting. To compare favorably with competitors, of which there are many in any locality, do not save money and buy good equipment from foreign manufacturers. In addition, such equipment will help you to perform work not only with high quality, but also quickly, which will be a plus for your workshop and will provide you with a stable influx of customers.
Step 4
For the repair of many imported cars, special programmable stands will be required, which are available only at the disposal of official dealers, so it is better not to take risks and open a service for the repair of domestic cars.
Step 5
To attract regular customers, set reasonable prices for services, but do not dump, otherwise you will have to, firstly, constantly keep the defense against competitors, and secondly, work around the clock in order to somehow compensate for the costs.
Step 6
To find great specialists for the workshop, try talking to them face to face and suggesting better conditions than those under which they currently work (and that high-level specialists never sit out of work, do not even doubt). Some may be interested in a high salary or interest on orders, while others may be interested in a large amount of work that you will be obliged to provide them.
Step 7
Contact the RCC office and submit the documents: - certified copies of constituent documents; - certificate of registration of an individual entrepreneur / LLC; - extract from the USRIP / USRLE; - statistics codes; - a certified copy of the certificate of title to non-residential premises received by you from the lessor; - contract lease of premises; - positive conclusions from the sanitary and fire services; - a list of equipment available in the auto repair shop.
Step 8
Invite specialists from the RCS to test the work of your service and issue positive opinions on each of the types of work, on the basis of which you can receive certificates.
