In the conditions of the constant heating price rise, some owners of country houses are thinking about the advisability of switching to liquefied balloon gas. It acts as a good alternative to electric or stove heating, and with an established supply of cylinders, it can be used as a temporary scheme until the house is connected to the main gas pipeline.

Equipment for heating with balloon gas

To connect heating with gas cylinders, you will need a gas boiler, LPG cylinders, a burner, shutoff valves, reducers and a gas pipeline that will allow you to connect all this into a single system.

For this type of heating, almost any gas boiler from the range of equipment designed for main gas is suitable.

If you are going to heat a country house, a single-circuit or double-circuit boiler with the possibility of hot water supply and different power will suit you. A gas boiler can be floor-standing or wall-mounted - the vast majority of this equipment is suitable for liquefied balloon gas, it is enough just to replace the burner that comes with it.

When choosing a gas boiler, give preference to a model with a minimum working pressure and maximum efficiency. This will allow you to fully use the gas from the cylinder and significantly save on heating. But how much can you save? Refueling one cylinder will cost you about 500 rubles - so, a month of heating a house with gas from 8-9 cylinders will cost 4000-4500 thousand rubles.

Installation of home heating with liquefied gas

When installing a heating system at home using liquefied gas, several gas cylinders can be connected to a gas boiler at the same time. This will increase the system uptime between cylinder changes.

The most advantageous is their connection and combining into one group of 3-10 cylinders with liquefied gas.

The connection of the cylinders to the gas boiler is carried out through a special reducer, designed for a flow rate of 1.8-2 cubic meters per hour. Gas stove reducers are not suitable for this type of heating. Gas cylinders should be installed in a well-ventilated room without an underfloor or basement, since in the event of a leak, gas will accumulate in them.

Also, the room with gas cylinders should not be cold and located next to living rooms. So that the burner and the pipe from the cylinders do not exchange vibration, it is advisable to connect using a flexible corrugated metal hose.

So, heating with liquefied bottled gas is advisable if the area of your house is less than 200 square meters and you can easily tolerate temperatures below 25 degrees. Otherwise, it is more profitable to purchase a solid fuel boiler for long burning, which does not require significant costs.
