Reasons for revoking the license from the Bank "Pushkino"

Some time before the license was revoked, the legal entities serviced by Pushkino had problems with translations. The bank also stopped issuing cash to individuals and closed a number of branches, citing a system failure.

Pushkino was one of the second hundred banks in terms of assets. At the beginning of July, the volume of its assets was 29.5 billion rubles, with 90% of the bank's liabilities accounted for by individuals.

However, at the end of September 2013 it became known that the bank's license had been revoked. The Central Bank of the Russian Federation announced the following reasons for these measures:

1. Violation of banking legislation.

2. Providing inaccurate reporting that hid the real value of capital. When paying compensations, the DIA discovered fictitious amounts that were made on deposits a week before the license was revoked. Their volume was estimated at 190 million rubles, the number of depositors - 364 people.

3. Participation in dubious transactions, operations to launder proceeds from crime.

4. High-risk credit policy. In particular, the placement of funds in low-quality assets and the lack of reserves. In the course of the audit, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation established that 90% of the firms to which loans were provided were absent at the addresses indicated in the loan agreements and ceased to fulfill their loan obligations.

5. Failure to comply with the requirements of the supervisory authority and failure to comply with the requirements to restrict banking operations. At the end of September, the Central Bank issued an order to Bank Pushkino to limit the acceptance of deposits from the population, as well as to create additional reserves by 2.4 billion rubles.

Later Bank "Pushkino" was declared bankrupt. The bank's assets amounted to 12.2 billion rubles, while liabilities to depositors - 26.6 billion rubles.

How to get money for Pushkino depositors

Bank "Pushkino" was a member of the deposit insurance system, therefore all depositors are entitled to 100% compensation for deposits up to 700 thousand rubles. Amounts that exceed 700 thousand rubles are compensated during the liquidation of the bank as part of the first priority creditors.

The DIA has estimated the total volume of deposits of individuals in Bank Pushkino, which are subject to reimbursement, at 20.2 billion rubles.

To obtain insurance, depositors need a passport and an application for payment, which can be downloaded from the DIA website.

Payments began on October 14, 2013. They are made through agent banks that were selected on a competitive basis - Sberbank, VTB 24, Rosselkhozbank. Depositors can receive money in cash, or by transferring funds to their own account.
