First, check the surface of the bill - it should be rough and embossed. If the paper is smooth, then this should alert you, because quite often counterfeiters use just such paper.

Next, you need to pay attention to the security thread. Experts believe that fraudsters cannot sew a thread into paper with high quality, therefore, on a real bill, the thread is tightly stitched through its canvas.
Step 3
Check the readability of small texts. In a modern banknote on a polymer thread, there must be a CBR microprint. On the defensive side, carefully consider the protective netting.
Step 4
Take a look at the coat of arms of the city of Yaroslavl. In the light, the color of the "Purple Bear" should change to greenish or brown.
Step 5
Directly under the coat of arms there should be a microperforation in the form of 1000. On counterfeit banknotes, the microperforation will be rough on one side, while on a real banknote it is smooth on both sides. Counterfeiters perforate with needles, and real money uses a laser.
Step 6
On a watermark, we will definitely see an uneven distribution of tones, and on fake money, the watermark is solid and dark.
