Sometimes people do not even suspect that some bills in their wallet may be counterfeit. And in vain - after all, it is better to detect a fake on time and on your own than the seller at the checkout. In addition, it is quite simple to distinguish a fake of 1000 rubles.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, determine on what material the bill is made. This 1000 ruble bill is made on a special multi-layer material. Fakes are most often printed on paper.
Step 2
Feel the bill. Small strokes should be felt along the edges, and the text "Ticket of the Bank of Russia" is slightly embossed. This is made for people with low vision, so you should easily feel these signs on a real banknote.
Step 3
Tilt the bill slightly. The original banknote has a shiny horizontal stripe in the center of the coat of arms of the city of Yaroslavl. When you change the angle of inclination, the bar will move from the center up or down.
Step 4
Examine the security thread that comes out to the surface of the paper. When you tilt the bill, you should see either several numbers "1000" with rhombuses between them, or just a rainbow sheen.
Step 5
Find a solid green field. If you tilt the banknote, you should see yellow and blue stripes on the original - as if the continuation of the colored stripes of the dark area of the field. Also, these stripes are visible under ultraviolet light.
Step 6
Examine the bill to light. You should see a portrait of Yaroslav the Wise, lighter than the main part of the bill (it is on the right side of the front, next to it there is a light watermark - "1000").
Step 7
On the back side of the banknote there are dark numbers "1000", alternating with rhombuses. View this area in light: the numbers should be light against a dark background.
Step 8
Place the bill against the light and look just below the Yaroslavl coat of arms. On a real banknote, you will see the inscription "1000", consisting of many small holes. You cannot find them by touch.
Step 9
Look at the 1,000 ruble bill through a magnifying glass or magnifying glass. On the front side, at the top and bottom of the ornamental ribbon, you will see several lines of miniature text. This is a fairly clear sign of a real bill, because counterfeiters usually do not add this text.
Step 10
When zoomed in, it is noticeable that the building on the obverse of the bill (the one next to the chapel) consists of several small elements.
