The hunting store cannot be classified as a fast-paying project, it requires quite impressive investments, and the profitability, as a rule, does not exceed 40%. However, if you have a start-up capital (at least 3 million rubles), are familiar with weapons and the laws governing their sale, try opening your own hunting store.

Step 1
Choose a room for a hunting store, it should be at least 120 square meters, and better - 200 square meters. m. Equip it with fire-extinguishing means in accordance with the established standards and connect it to the security and fire alarm system (provide a conclusion to the central monitoring panel of the non-departmental ATS security guard).
Step 2
Install an additional power supply in the store to ensure the operation of security devices in the event of a failure of the main network. Place steel grilles on all vents and windows and double protection on the doors.
Step 3
Lock the showcases in which the weapons are displayed with a key, bring an alarm to each one. Install the second door in the form of a metal grill.
Step 4
Equip the weapons room, there should be no windows, and the walls, floor and ceiling must be made of metal or concrete with a thickness of at least 360 mm (reinforced concrete walls are allowed from 180 mm). This room is intended for storing weapons during the time when the store will not work, it opens only 2 times a day - at the time of taking out weapons in the morning and bringing them in after closing.

In addition to the standard documents for opening a store, you will receive a license from the Central Internal Affairs Directorate and a permit from the city authorities. Write a statement to the head of the GUVD and state your request to open a store. You will be given a list of documents and a detour sheet.
Step 6
Submit an application in the prescribed form, a lease agreement for the premises, copies of statutory documents. Sign the bypass sheet with various services, from architecture management to non-departmental security. The same services will issue you with certificates of inspection of the premises. Pay all the necessary fees and wait until you receive a license from the Main Department of Internal Affairs.
Step 7
Find at least two good vendors who are passionate about guns and hunting. Try to find people who can not only talk about the product, but who are also versed in the design features of the weapon, as well as who are able to carry out all the operations to prepare it for use. In addition, find a person who will be responsible for storing weapons, this should be someone you fully trust.
Step 8
Choose the optimal assortment of the store for hunters (as a rule, this is 70% of weapons and 30% of related products, equipment). Try to reach out to manufacturers of goods, not intermediaries. To attract buyers, try to create an atmosphere of "clubbing" by providing related services: shooting range, weapons workshops, organization of hunting trips, etc.
