Belarus is a hospitable country with prices that are affordable for most Russian tourists. Here you can rent a budget but decent accommodation, have a tasty and inexpensive lunch, visit interesting sights almost free of charge.
Lodging
In Belarus, you can find housing for any money, although quite recently the situation was different. Then there were several expensive hotels in the capital, but hostels and economy-class hotels were practically absent.
Now in the country you can rent a bed in a common room, a room for two or three. New hotels, two- and three-star hotels are at the service of tourists. Food
Although there are also expensive restaurants in Belarus, the average bill is no more than 500 rubles. Local cafes will serve common food, Russian and European. You can easily find both sushi and pizza. In general, the public catering system does not differ much from the Russian one.
Naturally, in popular places designed for tourists, prices will be higher - and significantly. Here you need to pay 700 rubles for a good lunch or dinner. In a cafe where Belarusians themselves dine, the same set of dishes will cost only 300 rubles.
You can have a quick bite at familiar fast food chains. McDonald's is also open in Minsk, and the prices here are almost the same as in Russia. It is good to drink coffee in numerous coffee houses, where a cup of cappuccino costs about 80 rubles, and a croissant - about 50. You can pay either in cash or by credit card.
You can dine even more economically by purchasing food in restaurants. A loaf of bread here costs 22 rubles, and a bottle of milk costs 36 rubles. The price per kilogram of cheese is about 270 rubles.

Entertainment
There are many interesting sights in Belarus, both in large cities and in other areas. Nesvizhsky, Pishchalovsky, Mir castle will slightly open the door to history, and historical and art museums invite you to get acquainted with their collections. Transport
If you want to see not only Minsk and regional centers, but also see ancient castles, the amazing nature of green reserves and hidden corners of the country, you should rent a car. In Belarus, there are good roads, smooth tracks, long traffic jams rarely happen, which means the trip will be easy and pleasant. In addition, the cost of renting a car is very low. Gasoline at a gas station is also inexpensive.
If you do not have a license, or if it is impossible to travel by car for some other reason, you can travel by trains and buses. Ticket prices depend on the distance. For example, a trip from Minsk to Brest by train costs about 300 rubles, and by bus - 550 rubles.
The transport system in cities is represented mainly by buses. The necessary tickets can be bought at stops or from the driver. The cost of one bus ride is only 14 rubles. A minibus taxi will cost about 2 times more.
It is worth buying a pass for a long time - it will cost about 30% more. Passes are valid for a specific period or a specific number of trips.
