Step 2
Fill out the application for the appointment of a pension, which has the prescribed form. You can download it on the Internet or ask for a form at any branch of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. Provide all required personal information. Do not forget to sign and date it.
Step 3
Collect the package of documents that you will need to apply for your pension. It is imperative that you have a passport, identification code and work record book or other document that confirms your work experience. You may also need the following documents: certificate of average monthly earnings; a document confirming the presence of disabled family members and dependents; documents on change of surname; certificate of disability. If you do not have registration, then you need to get a certificate of the place of stay or actual residence.
Step 4
Wait until your pension application is reviewed. This procedure usually takes no more than 10 days. If you were denied your pension benefits, you will receive a written notice within five days detailing the reasons.
