The black box model is one of the most common in systems analysis. When constructing it, the internal structure of the modeled object is not taken into account. Only function or behavior is taken into account. So you can determine the main course of action to achieve goals in the enterprise, without being distracted by unnecessary details. Let's take a look at the process of creating a black box model using the example of a microwave oven.

First, define the "outputs", that is, the final results. Let's say you manufacture microwaves. Before starting production, you need to decide on the end result. You can define the output by asking a few questions. What will consumers get in the end? What are the main functions of this device? How does it differ from other products? Try to find the maximum number of "exits".
Step 2
Then determine what exactly you need to achieve the desired result. That is, all the resources spent on the production of the device must be described. Moreover, not only the developer's investment should be taken into account, but also the actions of end users. You can also identify "inputs" using questions. What will allow the device to function fully? What factors of production will be needed for this? What is needed to create a mechanism? Add "inputs" to the resulting schema.
Step 3
It may happen that the system is needed to solve one area of the problem. For example, "cooking". Then the original black box model needs to be divided into two schemes. Analyze each diagram carefully and find how you can complement it.
