  • calculator
  • notebook and pen
  • the calendar

Instructions

Step 1

Determine for what period of time there was no receipt of alimony. For example, alimony is paid on the 1st day of the month, while there were no payments for three months (March, April and May) in the amount of 1,000 rubles for each month. It is necessary to calculate the penalty for June 1. For simplicity of calculations, you can create a table, in the first column of which there will be the name of the month. According to the terms, the next three lines will be March, April and May.

Step 2

Enter the amount of the alimony. In the second column, opposite each month, the amount of alimony that should have been paid is indicated. If the payer has not provided information about the salary, then the calculation of the penalty is made based on the average salary in the Russian Federation. This column turns out three rows of 1000 rubles each (according to the conditions of the example).

Step 3

Calculate the period of delay in payments. The third column records the number of calendar days of delay in payment on the day of calculating the forfeit - June 1. The row March in this cell will have 91 days, the second row (April) will have 61 days, and the row May will have 31 days.

Step 4

Calculate forfeit - The fourth column calculates forfeit for each month. To do this, the amount of debt for the month is multiplied by 0.5% (according to the family code of the Russian Federation, the debtor is charged a penalty of 0.5% daily if the debt arose through his fault) and multiplied by the number of days in debt. In the first line it turns out: 1000 * 0.5 * 91 = 455 rubles, in the second line: 1000 * 0.5% * 61 = 305 rubles and for May we get a penalty: 1000 * 0.5 * 31 = 155 rubles.

Step 5

Add the resulting parameters The total amount of the forfeit was: 455 + 305 + 155 = 915 rubles. As a result, the total amount of payment of the debt, together with the forfeit, will be 3915 rubles. If the debt is not repaid, then the next month it is necessary to recalculate everything. In addition to adding an additional line for June, it is necessary to recalculate the penalty for all months. So, on July 1, the penalty for March will increase to 605 rubles (based on the increased number of overdue days to 121).
