So that you do not have to change the bank often, when choosing a bank, pay attention to the speed of transferring funds, the level of service, the efficiency of the work of bank employees, and loyalty to you as a client of the bank. If you do decide to change the bank that serves your current account, you need to pay attention to some nuances.
It is necessary
- - application for termination of the old agreement;
- - constituent documents;
- - printing;
- - application for the conclusion of a new contract.
Instructions
Step 1
Write to the selected bank an application for opening a current account. Attach copies of constituent documents, a card with sample signatures of the head and chief accountant to the application. The card is drawn up in a notary office in the form approved in Appendix No. 1 to Instruction No. 28-I. After checking the package of documents with the chief accountant of the bank, you will be informed about the conclusion of an agreement for the maintenance of settlement and cash services and will be given a notice of opening an account, which will indicate your new details.
Step 2
To the bank with which you want to terminate the bank account maintenance agreement, write a statement on termination of the agreement. Enter your new payment details in it. According to these data, the balance of funds from the old current account to the new one will be transferred to you. Receive a notification from a bank specialist about closing a current account.
Step 3
Inform all your customers and suppliers about the change of the servicing bank and payment details. This is very important because when transferring funds to the old current account, they will be returned to your counterparties back. You can notify partners by sending them an additional agreement (write on what date the old current account will be closed and a new one will be opened), or in the form of an information letter.
