Make an estimate for the event in Excel. Determine how much of the costs your company can cover. Calculate the amount you plan to receive from sponsors. Make a colorful presentation of your project with a detailed description of sponsorship packages.
Step 2
Make proposals for different categories of sponsors in such a way that all together they cover the required amount. This will create a safety cushion for yourself in case of force majeure. The commercial offer should contain several formats of placement - banners, roll-ups, oral presentation of the sponsor by the hosts of the event, presentation of the sponsor's products, placement of an advertising video on plasma screens in the hall or on the air of your TV channel. The broader the proposed media plan, the more chances you have to get your partner interested.
Step 3
Start offering cooperation to several potential sponsors at once. It is not a fact that all of them will accept your offer, but the likelihood of successful negotiations will increase. Involve the personal interest of the person who will decide on the allocation of a budget for your project. Invite him to participate in the event. Explain that his presence will have a positive impact on the company's image and increase customer loyalty. Offer him vip-places and an informational sponsorship package, taking into account his interests.
Step 4
Make every effort to ensure that the new sponsor becomes your permanent partner. To do this, very clearly follow all the terms of the contract, provide a photo and video report about the event and the sponsor's participation in it. Show loyalty and interest in the sponsor's representative as a person, establish friendly relations. If the client is satisfied with you and your work, it will be difficult for him to refuse you next time.
