Often, in companies, employees want to receive monetary compensation for all or part of the rest due instead of vacation. For this, a statement is written to the employer. The latter has no right to refuse a specialist, exceptions are cases prescribed in article 126 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which indicates the categories of workers who are granted leave in a certain order.

Step 1

An application for compensation for unused days of annual leave is made in an arbitrary form. As a rule, enterprises have a form for such a document. In the upper left corner, write the name of the organization where you are performing the job. Enter the last name, initials, and the position of the director of the firm.

Step 2

Indicate your personal data, the name of the position for which you are performing your labor function. In the middle with a small letter write the name of the document.

Step 3

In the substantive part of the application for compensation, write down your request to pay you money for the unused days of annual leave. Write down the number of days for which you would like to receive money in lieu of the proper rest. You have the right to find out the number of days of unused time off from the HR department or other employee responsible for scheduling holidays.

Step 4

Sign the application. Indicate the date of the document. Submit the document to the director for review. The leader puts down the resolution in the agreement column. Please note that your employer can deny you monetary compensation for unused vacation days only if you are pregnant women, underage employees or professionals in hazardous (harmful) working conditions. In other cases, you have the right to receive a monetary allowance instead of the required rest.

Step 5

After the approval of the application for compensation, an order is issued on the amount of money for the unused days of rest. The amount of compensation depends not only on how many days of leave you are entitled to, but also on how many days you took as unpaid leave. The accounting department takes into account the periods that you actually performed your duties prescribed in the contract.
