To send money to Armenia or another country of the former USSR, you can use the services of any money transfer system. The sending procedure is standard: you must know the personal data of the recipient, have a passport and cash in the required amount with you. With all this, you need to contact the nearest transfer point and go through a number of simple formalities.

Step 1
Select the system you want to use. In the post-Soviet space, their spectrum is quite large. You can use both the international Western Union system and any of many others. The main defining criteria: the price of services, the speed of the transfer (from 15 minutes to three days), the ability to select a pick-up point (depending on the system, this can be any in a city or country, or one specific at the sender's choice), the number of user complaints (in some systems, unfortunately, often fail).
Step 2
If you have chosen a system where you can receive money only at one specific point, contact the recipient and agree on the address that is most convenient for him.
Step 3
Contact the nearest payment acceptance point of the selected system. Most often these are branches of banks working with several money transfer systems at the same time. But there may also be retail outlets: cell phone stores and others.
Step 4
Tell the operator about your desire to make a transfer to Armenia, name the system you would like to use, the amount and currency of the transfer (most systems work with dollars and euros, many also with rubles).
Step 5
Fill in the papers offered to you by the teller. They will need to indicate the last name, first name and, if there is a patronymic, of the recipient, the country where he is located, if necessary, the city and address of a specific transfer point (to indicate the exact address, use the help of a clerk who should have a list at hand) and the sender's data. If necessary, make notes in the places provided for this: for example, that neither you nor the recipient are officials, that the transfer is not related to commercial activities, etc.
Step 6
Give the filled papers and your passport to the teller. If necessary, answer his questions, sign in the proposed places.
Step 7
Deposit money: transfer amount plus commission.
Step 8
Receive in return a receipt and paper indicating the control number of the transfer.
Step 9
Transfer the control number of the transfer to the recipient in any convenient way (by phone, SMS, e-mail, through any messaging program). To receive money, he must also know the system by which they are transferred, the amount, last name, first name, and, if available, the middle name of the sender.
