In the second case, any workshop with which you conclude an agreement will carry out the original design solutions, and you will only have to exhibit ready-made samples for display, leaving from time to time to the customer's home.

Step 1
Find a suitable space for a curtain shop, while trying to get away from the usual solutions, adding an element of artistry and unpredictability to your business. The salon, for example, can be equipped as a multi-room apartment, each room of which is decorated in a special style, with the use of curtains, of course. To implement such an idea, the premises of a former communal apartment with successive rooms of the same size are well suited.
Step 2
Decide whether you will start your own production of curtains, or outsource the execution of orders for your models to a third party manufacturer. If you still decide to organize a workshop, rent a room with an area of 50-100 square meters and select the appropriate equipment. You will need several universal sewing machines and an overlock. To service one curtain shop, five seamstresses will be enough; you can resort to the help of adjusters or electricians, if necessary, having contacts of several proven specialists.
Step 3
Organize work with clients of your salon-shop by selecting one or several designers for work. They will advise store visitors, visit customers at home and take the necessary measurements to make an order. Other employees should install the cornices and hang ready-made curtains - for this purpose, you can hire people with personal vehicles on a piece-rate basis. The services of an accountant, if you are afraid to do your own bookkeeping, can be ordered from a specialized company, instead of hiring full-time security guards, it is better to organize a console security by concluding an agreement with one of the private security companies.
