Step 1

For the accreditation of an analytical laboratory, make an appropriate application for accreditation and send it to the accreditation body. The application must be written on paper in two copies. All other documents can be sent by e-mail.

Step 2

Coordinate the application with the territorial bodies of the relevant state control and supervision services, as well as with state bodies that carry out scientific, methodological and organizational leadership over the activities of the laboratories.

Attach to the application a draft regulation on an accredited laboratory, a draft passport of an accredited laboratory, a quality manual, an act and a certificate of attestation. All documents must be drawn up in strict accordance with the requirements of the law.

Step 4

Wait for the time period established by law during which the accreditation body will review the documents, form an accreditation commission and provide an official response, in which it reasonably refuses accreditation or sets a deadline for this procedure.

Step 5

Prepare in advance for submission to the commission all the normative, technical, methodological and technical documents of the laboratory, laboratory journals for the conduct and control of the accuracy of measurement results and other documents that the commission may need.

Step 6

Ensure the work of the commission upon its arrival at the site. She will check the state of the laboratory with the accreditation criteria, the compliance of the provided documentation with the actual state, conduct an experiment to check the quality and accuracy of laboratory tests and their compliance with standards. At the end of the commission's activities, an act will be drawn up for consideration by the accreditation body.

Step 7

Wait for the consideration of the act. The accreditation body can make a positive decision, it can give time to eliminate the deficiencies identified during the verification process, or it can refuse. In case of a positive decision, you will receive an accreditation certificate, an approved regulation and a laboratory project in a timely manner.
