The so-called counterfeiters are engaged in forging banknotes. The essence of their criminal activity is the large-scale printing of money and its sale in stores and other retail outlets. A person who is not very familiar with the distinctive features of real bills may fall for such a bait. That is why it is important for everyone to know how real and counterfeit bills differ.
Instructions
Step 1
Watermarks on counterfeit banknotes are often distorted. Sometimes there are no watermarks at all, but more often they are not done very carefully.
Step 2
On the imitation of the protective metal thread, the boundaries of the polymer base are not visible, and the text "100 CBR" is reproduced only in a straight and inverted position.
Step 3
The color design of the emblem of the Bank of Russia upon closer examination of the banknote at right and acute angles does not correspond to the color design of the same emblem on these banknotes. Under magnification, you can see that the emblem on the counterfeit bill consists of thin and parallel strokes.
Step 4
It often happens that the images on both sides of the transmission counterfeit are not aligned. Such a bill can be torn right there, and the distributor can be given what he deserves.
Step 5
Examining a real banknote, you can see two letters РР (which means Russian ruble) in the lower right corner on the front side of the banknote. If you look at them through the light from one angle, then the inscription will be light, and the background will be dark. If you change the viewing angle, the background will brighten and the letters will become darker. This is the kipp effect not found on counterfeit banknotes.
Step 6
Microperforation of the number "1000" on the bill in its right part is formed from small-diameter holes, and becomes visible in the light. On a counterfeit bill, the perforation is formed by piercing with a needle, therefore, the holes on the back side are rough to the touch.
Step 7
Under ultraviolet radiation, the serial number of genuine banknotes is highlighted in red, while counterfeit ones do not glow at all. Under the same radiation, light green and red security fibers on real banknotes luminesce with red and yellowish-green light, on fake ones they do not glow red or do not glow at all. In infrared radiation, the entire pattern of a counterfeit banknote can be seen on the detector's screen. Genuine banknotes are only partially displayed.
