Today OAO Gazprom is the largest gas production company in Russia and owns the longest gas transmission system in the world. At the end of 2011, the Gazprom Board of Directors reviewed and approved the 2012 financial plan and investment program. The investment program of the company was formed based on the timing of the implementation of priority projects and the level of income for the previous period. The total volume of investments for 2012 will amount to more than 776 billion rubles, while the size of long-term investments will exceed 67 billion rubles.

According to the press service of Gazprom, in accordance with the approved budget, the company's total revenues in 2012 will amount to RUB 4.9 trillion, while external borrowings are set at RUB 90 billion.

The Board of Directors has provided for the possibility of allocating about 200 billion rubles for the payment of dividends based on the results of activities for 2011, which corresponds to approximately 8.39 rubles. for one share. The decision to pay dividends is made at the annual General Meeting of Shareholders based on the recommendations of the Board of Directors.

The previous 2011 was a successful year for Gazprom. Gas export revenues were approximately $ 57 billion, up 23% from 2010. However, this figure is slightly lower than the previous forecasts of the management of the company. Revenues from gas sales in Russia itself and in the countries of the former USSR also increased. In 2012, the holding's management expects a significant increase in revenues from gas supplies to non-CIS countries. It is assumed that they will amount to at least $ 61 billion.

Interestingly, revenues from gas sales account for about two-thirds of total revenues, and the rest comes from the so-called non-core areas of activity - energy, gas transportation and gas processing. It should be borne in mind that, in accordance with the amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation in 2011, a gradual increase in the mineral extraction tax (MET) rate was established for Gazprom, which will lead to additional tax payments by OAO Gazprom. Thus, the country's budget will increase by an additional 440 billion rubles. at the expense of the company's income.
