You may not use a radio in the kitchen for years, but you still have to pay for it. Even if the socket for the receiver has long been pasted over with wallpaper, bills for a service that you do not use come regularly. In order not to pay for the radio, you will first have to run around "the authorities".
Instructions
Step 1
The city radio network cannot be disconnected "for non-payment" - it is considered the main method of notification in emergency situations. Therefore, even if you ignore the bills for using the radio point for years, this will only lead to the accumulation of debt, disconnecting the service for non-payment in this case is impossible. It can be made only upon the personal application of the owner (the responsible tenant or the owner in whose name the radio point is registered) or by a notarized power of attorney.
Step 2
Contact your city's broadcasting network office. There you will be given an application form to turn off the radio. In addition, you need to get a receipt for payment for the work of an electrician who will turn off the radio in your apartment (this is a paid service, its cost is relatively small and comparable to the monthly subscription fee). You can pay the receipt at the post office or at any bank. The best option is Sberbank, here you will not be charged a commission.
Step 3
If you already have a debt for a radio station, you will have to pay it in full and receive a certificate of absence of debt from the housing cooperative or the Unified Settlement Center. Otherwise, your application for disconnection will not be accepted.
Step 4
Visit the office of the city radio broadcasting network again, having with you your passport, a completed application for disconnection, a certificate of absence of debt, as well as a receipt confirming payment for the installer's services. After receiving the application, you will be told the date when the physical disconnection of the radio point will be made.
Step 5
On the agreed day, a fitter will come to you and, having done the necessary work, will give you a notice that the apartment has been disconnected from wired radio broadcasting.
Step 6
Submit the documents about the disconnection to the housing cooperative or the Unified Settlement Center. And only after you do this, the subscription fee for using the radio will stop charging. In this case, the date of the shutdown will be considered the day of filing an application with the GTS.
