Citizens of the Russian Federation who have worked before the 2002 pension reform are entitled to a pension supplement called valorization. The procedure for calculating and paying this additional payment is determined on the basis of the norms established by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.

Instructions

Step 1

Determine the size of your average earnings in the period 2000-2001 based on the data of the compulsory pension insurance system. You can also apply for the relevant certificate at the former place of work. Divide the resulting value by the size of the average monthly wage in the same period in the country.

Step 2

Calculate the seniority ratio, which for all insured persons is 0.55 and increases by 0.01 for each year of seniority. In this case, the resulting value should not be more than 0.75. Multiply the length of service coefficient by the ratio of average earnings and the average salary in July 2001, which is equal to 1,671 rubles. As a result, you will receive an estimated retirement pension.

Step 3

Find out the expected period of payment of the old-age retirement pension. If you became a pensioner before 2002, then this value is 144 months. If later, then increase this value by 6 for each additional year, while the amount should not exceed 192. After that, increase the value by one for each year.

Step 4

Find the amount of pension capital as of 01.01.2002. To do this, the value 450 is subtracted from the calculated part and divided by the estimated period of payments. Adjust the calculated pension capital by the indexation coefficient, which is determined by the Government of the Russian Federation for different periods differently. In this regard, first familiarize yourself with the relevant regulations.

Step 5

Calculate the amount of the pension supplement. To do this, you need to determine its percentage. It is equal to 1% for each year of work experience until 01.01.2002. If you have work experience during the USSR period, then add another 10% to the resulting value. Multiply the percentage of the premium by the amount of the pension capital to determine the amount of valorization.
