Credit card holders often face credit card blocking. It can be blocked at the initiative of the borrower, when another person makes illegal actions with the credit card, or when it is lost. You can unblock a credit card by contacting the bank that issued it.
Instructions
Step 1
Pay off the debt and interest on the loan, if the bank initiated the blocking of the credit card. To do this, contact any branch of your credit institution or any cashier by filling in the card details and paying the amount owed. You can also use an ATM. Account verification and unblocking will take from 7 to 14 days (depending on the bank). In this case, the amount owed plays an important role.
Step 2
Pay the cost of account recovery, the cost of reissuing a credit card (in case of loss). Pre-notify the bank about the loss so that it blocks actions on this card. Unlocking takes seven days. To do this, contact the credit institution with an application by presenting your passport.
Step 3
Wait within 12 hours if you have typed a combination of numbers incorrectly several times while dialing the PIN. The credit card is unblocked automatically, if this has not happened, then you need to go to the bank that issued it to you.
